End with a couple of days relaxing by the floating villages of serene Inle Lake.
CRUISING THE IRRAWADDY RIVER

This incredible waterway snakes from the north of the country south past Mandalay, Bagan and Yangon exiting into the Bay of Bengal. This itinerary joins the Pandaw cruise, a replica colonial river steamer, in Mandalay for its voyage south towards the former capital. With visits in and around Mandalay and to Bagan, the cruise also provides access to remote villages, towns and temple complexes few travellers ever see.
