Day 1 London Heathrow to Delhi
Fly with Virgin Atlantic non–stop to Delhi. (N)
Day 2 Delhi
Arrive into Delhi in the morning where you will be met and transferred to the Claridges
Hotel where you will stay overnight. (N)
Day 3 Delhi to Srinagar - by air
This morning fly to Srinagar and on arrival transfer to your premium Houseboat on Nagin Lake which will be
your base for the next three nights. In the afternoon cruise in a shikara through the floating gardens that
link Nagin and Dal Lakes. (B/D))
Day 4 Nagin Lake
This morning visit the famous Mughal Gardens, including the Nishat Bagh, or Garden of Gladness, and the Shalimar
Bagh which was built by the Emperor Jahangir for his wife Nur Jahan.
In the afternoon visit by car the picturesque Manasbal Lake located in the Jhelum Valley, 30kms north of Srinagar. The little known Jharokha Garden, originally named 'Daroga Bagh', this royal palace and garden commands a breathtaking view of the serene Manasbal Lake. (B/L/D)
Day 5 Nagin Lake
Before sunrise leave your houseboat and go by shikara to see the floating vegetable market that takes place every
morning. Return to your houseboat and spend the reminder of the day at your leisure reading and watching life
go by. (B/L/D)
Day 6 Srinagar
This morning transfer by car to the Lalit Grand Palace Srinagar Hotel or the Vivanta by Taj Dal View Hotel.
Remainder of the day at your leisure. (B)
Day 7 Srinagar
In the company of your local English speaking guide take a tour of Srinagar old city visiting Hariparbat Fort,
Jama Masjid Mosque, Shah Hamadan Mosque, Budshah Tomb and colourful bazaars. Afternoon at your leisure.
Day 8 Srinagar to Delhi - by air
Today fly back to Delhi and stay overnight at the Claridges Hotel. (B)
Day 9 Delhi to London Heathrow
Fly back to London non–stop with Virgin Atlantic. (B)

Extend your time in Kashmir and drive via Kargil through spectacular mountain scenery to Leh, capital of Ladakh – a predominantly Buddhist land of white–washed monasteries and ancient traditions.

Prices vary according to selected airlines, hotels and season, however, an indication to the current cost of this itinerary is from £2,075. All prices are per person and are based on a minimum of TWO persons travelling together and sharing a twin bedded room with meals as indicated.
