This is a unique opportunity to leisurely explore and enjoy the beauty and tranquillity of the Kerala backwaters on your own private rice barge. The boats are simply but comfortably furnished and consist of a thatch-covered lounge/dining area one or two double bedrooms with mosquito nets and attached bathrooms with a WC, wash basin and a hand held cold water shower. Bedrooms are air-conditioned and in the evening the boat is lit by solar powered lights and hurricane lamps. Meals are cooked on board and the barge is staffed with a captain and a cook.
