CALL OF THE JUNGLE
Day 1 Delhi to Corbett – 300kms
Early this morning leave by car for Corbett National Park arriving in the
afternoon in time for a walk before sunset along the banks of the Ramganga
River. Stay overnight at the Infinity Resort. Corbett Park is situated along
the valley of the Ramganga River and is bordered by the Himalayan foothills
to the north. Established in 1935, the park encompasses a varied terrain ranging
from savannah grasslands to deciduous forests and supports a remarkable variety
of wildlife such as elephants, bears, leopards and tigers. It is also noted
for its Himalayan flora and an astonishing 600 species of birds.
To minimise your travelling time we would recommend that you spend your first and last night at the Infinity Resort which is situated on the perimeter of the park near the Brijrani Gate. The drive from the main entrance of the park to Dhikala can take approximately 1 ½ hours, so it really is not practical to spend the first or last night inside the park at Dhikala Forest Lodge. By dividing your stay between the Infinity Resort and Dhikala Forest Lodge you will be able to experience all the varied aspects of Corbett. (B/D)
Day 2 Corbett
Take an early morning safari from the Brijrani Gate. After breakfast enter
Corbett at the Dhikala Gate stopping for further viewing on your way to Dhikala
Forest Lodge. Stay two nights at Dhikala Forest Lodge which is situated in
a superb location in the heart of the park. Evening wildlife safari from Dhikala.
(B/L/D)
Viewing at Corbett is undertaken by elephant back and jeep safaris. Please carry your own binoculars and also take a warm fleece, hat and gloves with you, because you may find it cold when on safari before sunrise and after sunset.
Day 3 Corbett
Early morning and evening wildlife viewing by jeep and elephant back safaris
from Dhikala. (B/L/D)
Day 4 Corbett

Infinity Resort and before sunset go for further wildlife viewing via the
Brijrani Gate. (B/L/D)
