Day 1 London Heathrow to Singapore
Fly with Singapore Airlines non-stop to Singapore.

Day 2 Singapore to Denpasar
Arrive into Singapore and connect onto your onward Singapore Airlines flight to Denpasar. You will be met on arrival and transferred to the Puri Santrian Hotel where you will stay for the next two nights. (N)

Day 3 Denpasar
At leisure to relax and acclimatise. (B)

Day 4 Denpasar to Ubud
This morning depart by car from your hotel for Ubud, the artistic and cultural heart of Bali. Around Ubud live Bali’s most noted painters, carvers, weavers, dancers and musicians. Visit the villages of Mas which is noted for its carvers, Celuk noted for its gold and silversmiths and Batubulan famous for the Barong dance. A visit will also be made to the 11th Century Goa Gajah, or elephant cave, rock temple. Stay for two nights in Ubud at the Pertiwi Ubud Hotel. (B)

Day 5 Ubud
Much of the charm of Ubud lies in the beauty of the surrounding countryside and the unspoilt local villages which are well worth exploring on foot or by bicycle. In the centre of Ubud the Museum Puri Lukisan contain examples of 20th Century Balinese art. (B)

Day 6 Ubud to Candidasa
After breakfast leave for Candidasa on the east coast. En-route visit the Penataran Sasih temple and Tampaksiring dating from 984 AD where the holy springs are thought to have mystical powers before continuing onto the beautiful Besakih temple – the holiest site on Bali. Besakih is not one temple but a complex of twenty-two temples that lie scattered over the southern slopes of Mount Agung. The most important temple of all is the Pura Penataran Agung, the Mother Temple of Bali. After lunch visit Putung Hill which offers beautiful views of rice terraces in East Bali before driving onto Candidasa where you will stay overnight at the Puri Bagus Candidasa Hotel. (B)

Day 7 Candidasa to Pacung
Today visit the traditional ‘ikat’ weaving village of Tenganan and Goa Lawah, or bat cave, before returning inland to Kertagosa to see the 18th Century House of Justice, a superb example of Klungung architecture. In the afternoon drive through the countryside of Bali to see the Ulun Danu Temple by Lake Beratan. Stay overnight at the 3* Saranam Eco Resort in Pacung. (B)

Day 8 Pacung to Denpasar
This morning leave for Denpasar via the Batukau Temple, the Royal Temple of Taman Ayun and Tamah Lot perched on a tiny rock off the coast. Stay at the Puri Santrian Hotel overnight. (B)

Day 9 Denpasar to Mataram – by boat
Mataram to Senggigi

In the morning transfer to the pier for the boat to Mataram. Upon arrival you'll be met and taken on a half day city tour to visit the Royal Floating Palace, Pura Meru Temple, the Summer Palace and Lingsar Temple, the oldest temple in Lombok and used by both Hindus and Muslims. Stay at Quinci Villas for six nights. (B)

Day 10 Senggigi
Today enjoy a full day excursion to the three Gili Islands, known for their excellent snorkelling and coral reefs. Return to your hotel in the late afternoon. (B)

Day 11 Senggigi
After breakfast drive through the countryside to visit villages which specialise in bamboo furniture-making. Continue deep into the islands interior to visit the preserved forest at Suranadi. (B)

Day 12 Senggigi
This morning you will visit Northern Lombok. Drive through the mountainous rainforest and stop at Pusuk Monkey Forest. Also visit Sendang Gile Waterfall and Senaru village. Continue to visit the sacred grave of King Selaparang and that of Maha Patih Gajah Mada. The final visit of the day will be at Lemor, a forest reserve. (B)

Day 13 Senggigi
Today visit traditional Sasak Villages including Banyumulek, one of the many pottery villages in Lombok, Sukarara village where they make the Songket cloth which is hand-woven with gold and silver thread and Rambitan, a typical Sasak village. (B)

Day 14 Senggigi
At leisure – no car and driver. (B)

Day 15 Mataram to Singapore
Singapore to London Heathrow

Today transfer to Denpasar airport for your Singapore Airlines flight to London Heathrow via Singapore. (B)

Prices vary according to selected airlines, hotels and season, however, an indication to the current cost of this itinerary is from £2,365. All prices are per person and are based on a minimum of TWO persons travelling together and sharing a twin bedded room with meals as indicated. If you wish to travel alone we will be pleased to assist you with your arrangements and can provide a proposal on request.
