The country is an amazing blend of the modern and the traditional — futuristic cities, smoking volcanoes, snow–capped mountains, bullet trains, manicured gardens and ancient temples. Beginning in Tokyo, explore this vast metropolis where highlights include the dazzling Ginza shopping district and Tsukiji Fish Market. Continue via the beautiful Mount Fuji, Takayama and Kanazawa, ending in the historic temple city of Kyoto.

Starting the tour in Seoul, where highlights in the Gyeongbokgung Palace and Changdeokgung Palace, fly to subtropical Jeju Island — home to some of South Korea’s finest scenery. From Jeju visit the ancient Shilla remains at Gyeongju, second city Busan and then return to Seoul for an unforgettable visit to the DMZ.
