KASBAH TAMADOT – NEAR ASNI
Kasbah Tamadot, part of the Virgin Limited Edition Portfolio, is set on the
side of the rolling hills of the Atlas Mountains. The views in every direction
are simply stunning while inside the protective walls guests will discover
beautiful gardens and an extensive and inviting complex of staircases and
courtyards. There are eighteen bedrooms and suites all individually designed
using traditional Moroccan furnishings and antiques with a hint of the contemporary.
In the beautifully tended gardens, a grand staircase leads down to an infinity-edge
pool affording spectacular views and two tennis courts. Inside you will find
an indoor pool with a spa, a traditional hammam, salon and one of the finest
restaurants in Morocco ‘Kanoun’.
LA ROSERAIE – OUIRGANE
This country hotel, a haven of tranquillity, is set within beautiful gardens
at the foothills of the Atlas Mountains. Less than two hours by car from Marrakech,
those in search of peace and quiet will find La Roseraie to be a very special
retreat. The forty-five cottage style rooms and suites are unpretentious but
comfortable and all are situated in the extensive gardens.
KASBAH DU TOUBKAL – IMLIL
This rustic mountain retreat is spectacularly situated in the shadow of Jbel
Toubkal, North Africa’s highest mountain and the Kasbah can only be
reached from the village by a twenty minute walk or mule ride up a rocky path.
There are a wide range of trekking options, from short guided walks through
local villages to more demanding multi-day treks with further details on request.
DAR AHLAM – SKOURA
A member of Relais & Chateaux this luxurious Kasbah style retreat is situated
close to Skoura at the gateway to the ‘Road of a Thousand Kasbahs’.
Set in beautiful gardens with a large heated swimming pool, the hotel is an
intimate haven of tranquillity. There are eight suites in the main Kasbah
and three grand one bedroom villas in the grounds and all are air-conditioned,
individual in design and beautifully decorated. Dar Ahlam is noted for its
inspired Moroccan cuisine and prices include all meals, drinks (excluding
French wines and champagne) access to the hammam, jacuzzi, massages and local
sightseeing.
LA GAZELLE D’OR – TAROUDANT
This idyllic retreat, situated just outside of Taroudant, offers peace, comfort
and discreet charm. Guests reside in stone cottages spread throughout the
extensive 200 acres of parkland and orange groves with each of the 30 non
air-conditioned cottages individually designed and decorated in a delightful
blend of traditional Moroccan and contemporary European style. All rooms have
a dressing room, bathroom, fireplace and a small private terrace. Facilities
include a dining room (jackets preferred), a large swimming pool, two tennis
courts, horse riding, hammam, massage and beauty centre.
