Day 1 London Heathrow to Muscat
Depart London Heathrow on the overnight Oman Air flight to Muscat. (N)
Day 2 Arrive Muscat
Arrive into Muscat where you will be met and transferred to the Grand Hyatt Hotel which will be your base for the next
three nights. The rest of the day will be at leisure to relax after your journey. (N)
Day 3 Muscat
Today enjoy sightseeing of Muscat, capital of Oman and a city with a character quite distinct to its neighbouring
capitals. Places of interest include the narrow white–washed streets of the old walled city, the Grand Mosque and
Natural History Museum. (B)
Day 4 Muscat
At leisure. (B)
Day 5 Muscat to Nizwa
via Seeb, Nakhal and Wadi Bani Auf.
After breakfast continue by road to Nizwa stopping en–route in Seeb, the picturesque town of Nakhal and Wadi Bani
Auf. Nizwa, which is surrounded by an oasis of date palms, is dominated by a 17th century fort constructed by
Sultan bin Saif al–Yaruba and remains the gateway to Oman’s historical heartland. On your arrival stay for three
nights at the Golden Tulip Hotel. (B)
Day 6 Nizwa — visit Wadi Nakheer and Wadi Ghul
Today, visit Wadi Nakheer and the dramatic canyon at Wadi Ghul. (B)
Day 7 Nizwa — visit Jabrin and Bahla
Today enjoy a visit to the impressive castle at Jabrin and the 14th century Bahla Fort — the latter a UNESCO
World Heritage Site and one of the highlights of the region. (B)
Day 8 Nizwa to the Wahiba Sands
After breakfast, leave Nizwa and continue by car to the Wahiba Sands — home of the Bedouins — where
you will stay overnight at the Desert Nights Camp. (B/D)
Day 9 Wahiba Sands to Ras Al–Jinz
Today visit the beautiful Wadi Bani Khalid en–route to coastal Ras Al–Jinz — the easternmost point of the Arabian
Peninsula. An important turtle nesting site, in the evening visit the protected beach with a warden and witness
up to five different species of turtle who call this area home. Stay overnight at the Ras Al–Jinz Centre. (B)
Day 10 Day Ras Al–Jinz to Muscat
Muscat to Salalah
This morning leave Ras Al–Jinz and return to Muscat Airport in good time to catch your onward flight to the
southern city of Salalah. On your arrival you will be met and transferred to the Salaleh Hilton Hotel where you will
stay for the next five nights. (B/L)
Day 11 Salalah — visit Mirbat and Taqa
Today drive past grazing camels and flocks of flamingos to the historic town of Mirbat to visit its old merchant
houses before returning to Salalah stopping en-route in Taqa. (B)
Day 12 Salalah — visit Job’s Tomb and Mughsail Beach
After breakfast, leave your hotel and visit Job’s Tomb which is located on a hilltop overlooking Salalah.
Later visit the spectacular Mughsail Beach before returning to your hotel in the afternoon. (B)

At leisure to relax. (B)
Day 15 Salalah to Muscat – by air
Muscat to London Heathrow
Today you will be transferred back to Salalah Airport in good time to catch your onward flight to Muscat.
On your arrival connect onto the Oman Air flight to London. (B)

Prices vary according to selected airlines, hotels and season, however, an indication to the current cost of this itinerary is from £3,900. All prices are per person and are based on a minimum of TWO persons travelling together and sharing a twin bedded room with meals as indicated. If you wish to travel alone we will be pleased to assist you with your arrangements and can provide a proposal on request.
