With a history deeply influenced by its Roman neighbours, the country is also home to the ancient Phoenician capital of Carthage – a UNESCO World Heritage Site – and has a deep Ottoman heritage. This itinerary introduces much of this complex and colourful history, whilst also taking time to explore vibrant Tunis and surrounding beautiful Mediterranean scenery.
