TURKEY

Since Biblical times Anatolia, the Turkish mainland,
has been one of the great cradles of civilisation. This
vast country, a bridge between Europe and the East,
offers a wonderful array of scenery, history and culture
that will inspire and delight the most seasoned traveller.
We are able to suggest itineraries,
which will take you off the beaten track and highlight
the best that these fascinating countries have to offer.
In general the best time to visit Turkey
is in spring to early summer (April to June) and from
late summer to the autumn (September to the end of October)
when the climate should be at its best in Istanbul and
on the Aegean and Mediterranean coasts. Istanbul itself
can be enjoyed all year round, although it can be very
hot in July and August, while in winter it rains more
frequently and may even snow.
