AN AEGEAN ODYSSEY
There is no better way to savour the timeless beauty of Turkey’s Aegean coast than by cruising on a traditional goulette. Dropping anchor to explore idyllic islands and swimming in the warm clear waters of secluded bays. We can offer a four or seven night cruise every Saturday commencing from Marmaris between May and October. Further details on request.
These specially designed boats provide every comfort. They are 19/27 metres in length and have six/eight double cabins each with en-suite facilities and hot/cold water showers. All cabins are air-conditioned, but during the night, to prevent noise from the generator the system is turned off and, although storage space onboard is limited, you will not need much luggage since life on board is casual. Days are spent soaking up the sun on the forward deck or lazing in the shade of the aft deck with a good book. All of the cruises are on full board basis, with a spacious interior saloon and well-stocked bar. On board there is also a VHF Radiotelephone, GSM mobile phone, dinghy, canoe and fishing tackle. The crew consists of a captain, a deckhand and a cook who will prepare the delicious dishes.
Day 1 Saturday
Arrival into Marmaris and transfer to your Boat. Overnight is spent on board.
Day 2 Sunday
Cruise to Ekincik from where there are optional excursions into the Dalyan
Delta by small boats. In the ancient town of Caunos you can see the Lycian
Rock Tombs perched high on the cliff face along the river.
Day 3 Monday
Explore the numerous and wonderful bays of the Fethiye Gulf.
Day 4 Tuesday
Continue, with extended swimming stops, to Oludeniz and then onto Fethiye,
one of the best moorings in the region.
Day 5 Wednesday
After breakfast the 4-night cruise will end in Fethiye. The main cruise will
continue with swimming stops to Tersane Island with its Byzantine ruins and
ancient shipyards. Overnight will be spent at Agalimani.
Day 6 Thursday
Today continue your journey, with swimming stops, to Kadirga.
Day 7 Friday
Enjoy cruising to Turunc Bay, excellent for swimming, and continue to Marmaris.
Day 8 Saturday
Disembark your boat after breakfast.

* In addition to this cruise we can also offer you the opportunity to create your own itinerary by chartering a goulette for your sole use.
* Goulettes are motor powered and although they have sails these are not normally used.
