ESSENCE OF ARGENTINA
Day 1 London to Buenos Aires
Depart London Heathrow on the British Airways flight via Sao Paulo
in Brazil overnight to Buenos Aires.
Day 2 Buenos Aires
Arrive Buenos Aires in the morning, where you will be met and
transferred to the NH Latino Hotel for two nights. Rest of the day
at leisure to relax and acclimatise.
Day 3 Buenos Aires
Today tour this energetic city where the lifestyle and architecture
is more European than any other place in South America. Places of
interest include the Plaza de Mayo, the main square in the heart of
the city, the bohemian quarter of San Telmo, noted for its colonial
buildings, old churches and lively cafes and the colourful port area
of La Boca where tango dancers perform and artists exhibit their work.
Finally visit the famous Recoleta cemetery, where Eva Peron is
buried. (B)
Day 4 Buenos Aires to El Calafate – by air
Morning transfer to Buenos Aires airport for the Aerolineas Argentinas
flight to El Calafate. El Calafate is the gateway to the magnificent
Perito Moreno and the Glaciers National Park. The Perito Moreno glacier
is without doubt one of South America’s most magnificent sights, and
arguably one of the world’s greatest wonders. You will be met and
transferred to the Kau Yatun Hotel for two nights. (B)
Day 5 El Calafate
Today view up close the colossal Perito Moreno glacier which spans
five kilometres across and towers some sixty metres above the surface
of the lake. From an observation platform or boat watch as huge chunks
of blue ice shear off the face of the glacier and crash into the waters
below. (B)
Day 6 El Calafate to Buenos Aires – by air
Morning transfer to El Calafate airport for the Aerolineas Argentinas
flight to Buenos Aires. You will be met and transferred to the NH Latino
Hotel for one night. (B)
Day 7 Buenos Aires to London
Day at leisure. In the evening transfer to Buenos Aires airport for the
British Airways flight to London via Sao Paulo. (B)
Day 8 Arrive London
Arrive London Heathrow in the morning local time.

Prices vary according to selected airlines, hotels and season, however, an indication to the current cost of this itinerary is from £2,230.00. All prices are per person and are based on a minimum of TWO persons travelling together and sharing a twin bedded room with meals as indicated. If you wish to travel alone we will be pleased to assist you with your arrangements and can provide a proposal on request.
