ESSENCE OF LAOS
Day 1 London to Bangkok
Depart London Heathrow on the Thai Airways flight overnight to Bangkok.
Day 2 Bangkok to Luang Prabang – by air
Arrive Bangkok in the morning and connect with the flight to Luang
Prabang. You will be met and transferred to the Villa Santi Resort
for three nights. The ancient royal capital of Luang Prabang set amongst
beautiful hills on the banks of the Mekong. With its historic temples
this UNESCO world heritage town is a wonderful place in which to explore
and relax.
Day 3 Luang Prabang
&
Day 4
Two full days sightseeing in and around Luang Prabang. This sleepy
riverside town is the religious centre of Laos and contains many important
temples. The impressive Royal Palace currently houses the renowned
Golden Buddha. Walk through the town to enjoy the market and colonial
houses and take a pleasant trip upriver to see the mysterious Pak
Ou Caves, which contain thousands of ancient Buddha statues. (B)
Day 5 Luang Prabang to Vientiane – by air
Morning transfer to Luang Prabang airport for the flight to Vientiane.
You will be met and transferred to the Novotel Hotel for two nights.
The modern-day capital of Laos, Vientiane is situated on the banks
of the Mekong River. (B)
Day 6 Vientiane
Today explore Vientiane with your guide. Places of interest include
That Luang, a 3rd Century Stupa, as well as the magnificent temples
of Wat Phra Keo and Wat Sisaket built during the reign of King Anou.

Day 7 Vientiane to Bangkok – by air
Morning at leisure. Afternoon transfer to Vientiane airport for the
flight to Bangkok, and connect with your onward flight. (B)
Day 8 Bangkok to London
Early morning depart Bangkok on Thai Airways flight to London, arriving
London Heathrow in the morning local time.

A Guide to Price – ESSENCE OF LAOS
Prices vary according to selected airlines, hotels and season, however, an indication to the current cost of this itinerary is from £1,770.00. All prices are per person and are based on a minimum of TWO persons travelling together and sharing a twin bedded room with meals as indicated. If you wish to travel alone we will be pleased to assist you with your arrangements and can provide a proposal on request.
