ESSENCE OF MOROCCO
Day 1 London to Marrakech
Depart London Gatwick on the Atlas Blue flight to Marrakech (flight
operates Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday), where you
will be met and transferred to the Tickha Hotel for two nights.
Day 2 Marrakech
Marrakech is one of the world’s great cities with the High Atlas
Mountains, normally snow capped until late spring, forming a dramatic
backdrop to the magnificent ochre walls that surround the vibrant
and colourful Medina. Today, tour the city with your guide visiting
the 12th Century Koutoubia Minaret, the beautiful carvings of the
Saadian Tombs and the Bahia Palace which is noted for its fine architecture.
Walk through the souks teeming with shops and craftsmen to the famous
Jemaa el Fna Square which comes alive at sunset with its vibrant mix
of entertainers. (B)
Day 3 Marrakech to Fes – 480 kms
Leave Marrakech for the scenic drive north to Fes. Before reaching
Fes visit the mountain resort of Ifrane. Stay three nights at the
Le Royal Mirage Hotel. (B)
Day 4 Fes
Today explore this fascinating city, one of the largest medieval cities
in the world, with your local guide. Venture in to the Medina of Fes
el-Bali declared by UNESCO as one of the world’s cultural treasures
and where the palaces, mosques and fountains are among the most beautiful
in Morocco. (B)
Day 5 Fes
Drive out through rural countryside to visit ruins of the Roman City
at Volubilis and the nearby Imperial City of Meknes. (B)
Day 6 Fes to Casablanca – 300kms
This morning leave Fes by chauffeur driven car to Rabat the capital
of Morocco where you will have the opportunity to explore the Kasbah
des Ouadaïas with its cobbled streets and whitewashed houses.
In the afternoon continue to Casablanca. Stay at the Ramada Les Almohades
Hotel for one night. (B)
Day 7 Casablanca to London
Morning transfer to Casablanca airport for Royal Air Maroc flight
(flight operates Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday) to London,
arriving London Gatwick in the morning local time. (B)

Prices vary according to selected airlines, hotels and season, however, an indication to the current cost of this itinerary is from £1,740.00. All prices are per person and are based on a minimum of TWO persons travelling together and sharing a twin bedded room with meals as indicated.
