Welcome news this month as India's visa regulations have been relaxed. The majority of visitors to India now travel on the excellent e-visa and, with immediate effect, this facility has now been extended to 161 countries and a range of new airports including Kochi, Goa and Kozhikode. The duration of the e-visa has been extended from 30 to 60 days, and a double-entry visa can now also be requested, simplifying the opportunity for multi-centre holidays with neighbouring nations like Sri Lanka, Nepal, Bhutan and Bangladesh. Holders of passports endorsed 'British Citizen' who meet the eligibility criteria can apply for a double entry e-Tourist Visa (e-TV) to enter India at certain designated airports. You can find more information about the eligibility criteria on the government of India's e-Tourist Visa website. Beware of fake websites offering the e-TV service.
