Itinerary: Montreal & Quebec City Twin Centre

Today you begin your journey by boarding your international flight to Montreal. On arrival, take a taxi or public transport locally to your hotel. Spend the rest of today exploring Montreal and its dynamic mix of neighbourhoods, creative art scene and historic heritage. (N)
Accommodation in Montreal: Le St-Martin Hotel Particulier Montreal (or similar)
Montreal, a multi-cultural metropolis where you’ll find an alluring mix of heritage, culture and art. Over the next two days, discover the highlights of this friendly city; bike to Lachine Canal and wander through Quartier des Spectacles, the iconic festival quarter. Hike to the top of Mount Royal to experience the scenic views across the city and be sure to check out the bohemian vibe in the up and coming area of Plateau Mont-Royal, where you’ll find smoothie bars, artsy cafes and hip hangouts. For those wanting to get out of the city, you might choose to book onto a day trip to Mont Tremblant and the idyllic Laurentian Mountains. (N)

Today you will make your own way to Montreal train station and board the train to Quebec City, your journey will take approximately three and a half hours. Sit back and relax as the train passes along the picturesque St Lawrence River, rolling hills and charming villages. When you reach Quebec City, make your way to your hotel. Later, you might choose to go for a stroll through Old Quebec, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, where you can admire the city’s well-preserved architectural gems and colonial heritage. (N)
