Overview

The Shergarh Tented camp in Kanha is located in the lush forest hills of Madhya Pradesh. Known as India’s rural and tribal heartland, it is situated in the centre of India, surrounded by winding forest tracks, quaint villages and is an area of natural beauty.

Accommodation

Each of the six authentic canvas safari tents has had a complete upgraded. The tents have a generous setting amongst young woodland so that guests may enjoy total privacy during their stay. Each tent has a private verandah connected to a large bathroom with twin basins, shower and a separate toilet. Constructed under a canopy of mud tiles, the tent roofs are made locally using natural materials and provide ample shade from the sun’s rays on hot days and insulation during cooler evenings.

Facilities

Gastronomic delights are created by the chefs whom prepare delicious meals using locally sourced ingredients. Sumptuous home-cooked dishes include both Indian and continental influences. Dining may be enjoyed at various idyllic and private settings around the property
