Above the banks of the River Rungeet, high in the Himalayas is this fantastic plantation retreat situated 32kms from Darjeeling.
Dating from 1860, the plantation remains a working tea estate to this day, owned and run by the Prakash family. 4 rooms are situated in the colonial style Burra Bungalow with 2 simple rooms at a riverside camp. With its stunning views, tranquil location, friendly staff, as well as some of the best food in the region, Glenburn Tea Estate is a true gem.
