Positioned close to Ajmer and between the cities of Jaipur and Jodhpur, Chhatra Sagar is surrounded by farmland and small villages and close to colourful local temples and welcoming villagers. The camp here consists of thirteen comfortable and modern tents, amongst the best of their kind in India, and all are set on a dam overlooking a lake. The birdwatching at Chhatra Sagar is very good – the lake attracts a range of resident and migratory birds throughout the year – and there is plenty to see and do in the surrounding area.
