Chhatra Sagar

Overview

A truly magical place, which comprises of 13 delightful tents, pitched on a dam, overlooking a lake, close to Chhatra Sagar two hours east of Jodhpur. A lovely small boutique property, the tents are very pretty and comfortable and have good ensuite bathrooms, a small dressing room and verandas with far-reaching views over the lake and Rajasthani countryside.

Accommodation

Each tent is pitched to ensure privacy and all face directly onto the lake. Whilst sitting on your veranda, you are rewarded with exceptional, uninterrupted views and virtually no sign of habitation.

Facilities

The food served is freshly made traditional Rajasthani cuisine. There are village visits to Seervi and shepherd settlements, birdwatching, walking tours. Visits to the farm, ox cart rides, picnics, walks around the lake, sundowners on the hill, boating on the lake (water levels permitting), stargazing and archery.
