Ranthambore National Park Holidays
Arguably the best-known wildlife reserve of the Indian subcontinent, Ranthambore National Park is also one of its most popular. One of the original Project Tiger reserves, Ranthambore is a particularly beautiful park of deciduous forest, rocky hills, grassland and lakes all of which are overlooked by a grand 13th century fort. This perfect wildlife environment is a haven for many of India’s most iconic animals, the most famous being the Bengal tiger, and with recent conservation efforts sightings of this magnificent creature are increasingly common. Ranthambore also supports a wide range of other mammals including leopard, jackal and hyena, chital and sambar deer, nilgai, chinkara, monkey, mongoose and sloth bear as well as numerous insects and reptiles. The reserve also has excellent birdwatching with over 270 species recorded. Every holiday and tour to India that we design is one-off, memorable and special. As travel experts in tailor-made holidays to India, we have over 30 years' experience creating Rajasthan holidays.
