ITINERARY HIGHLIGHTS
The view of Mt Bromo volcano from Mt Penanjakan is one of the classic images of both Java and Indonesia. A visit at dawn often provides the clearest sight of the Tengger Massif.
Surrounded by lush, green, rain forest and rice paddies, Ubud, in central Bali, is a centre of handicrafts and traditional dance. The scenery is dotted with Hindu temples and shrines.
Vibrant and cultured, Yogyakarta is the centre of Javanese art and culture. The highlight is the Kraton, or walled city, home to markets, mosques, batik sellers and silversmiths.
