Moving on to the great Kruger National Park, you will spot wildlife and stay at an outstanding game reserve where luxury meets rustic splendour. Continue your journey in style as you fly to Zambia and stay in a hotel that overlooks the Zambezi River, just a short distance from the roaring Victoria Falls. Itinerary: Cape Town, Kruger National Park and the Mighty Victoria Falls

Today you begin your journey by boarding your international overnight flight to Cape Town. (N)
Upon arrival into Cape Town airport, you will be met and transferred to your hotel by a private driver. The rest of the day is free for you to relax at leisure or explore the city. You might choose to head to the Victoria and Albert waterfront where you can wander past the various shops and cafes as you enjoy the impressive views of the bay and Table Mountain which overlooks the harbour. You might decide to spend today exploring some of the most iconic attractions in Cape Town, such as taking a ferry across to Robben Island to visit the prison where Nelson Mandela spent the majority of his sentence. Later on you could take a rotating cable cart to the summit of Table Mountain where you can experience awe-inspiring views over Cape Town. Or, if you fancy something a little different, we can arrange a helicopter ride for you, where you can admire this beautiful city from a birds eye view. (B)

Today you might choose to hire a car so you can spend some time exploring, at your own pace, the impressive viewpoints, iconic sites and idyllic fishing villages en route to the Cape Point. You might choose to visit Boulders Beach, home to the colony of African penguins, or take a boat trip out to Seal Island just 30 minutes off the coast of Hout Bay. We recommend stopping off at Camps Bay on your way back to Cape Town where you can spend some time on the golden beach, or just to take in the atmosphere at one of the relaxed bars or restaurants. After breakfast, you will be transferred to Cape Town airport by private driver for your short flight to Mpumalanga airport (flight time approximately 2.5 hours). Upon arrival at Mpumalanga airport, you will be met by your private driver who will transfer you to the alluring Bongani Mountain Lodge, located in the shadows of the Malelane Mountain range, surrounded by African bushveld. After you have settled into your rustic accommodation, complete with private decking, relax awhile in this idyllic spot as you admire the African décor and hand-crafted detail of your authentic lodge. Later on this afternoon you will head out for your first safari experience. (B/D)

You will rise early this morning to join a morning game drive, in search of the big 5 and other wildlife waking up and in search of breakfast. After a morning of exploring the mountainous terrain and open plains, you will head to the restaurant for your own breakfast. Today you might decide to follow the ancient path once used by the San people, which leads to the greatest concentration of recorded rock art per square meter. Here you will find over 250 recorded San rock art sites, which are approximately 1500 years old. You might choose to spend today using the spa facilities or relaxing in your cosy lodge. Later on today you will head out on another afternoon game drive with your ranger. (B/L/D)

Today, you will spend another day on safari, continuing to enjoy the morning and afternoon game drives, searching for wildlife and learning about the reserves conservation efforts from your ranger. Tonight you might decide to eat dinner under the stars at the game reserves open-air boma, a wonderful way to end your last evening on safari. (B/L/D)

Wake up early again today for your last game drive before breakfast. Later on this morning you will be met and transferred by a private driver to Mpumalanga airport for your flight to Livingstone airport in Zambia (fight time approximately 1.5 hours). Upon arrival you will met and transferred by a private driver to your hotel in Livingstone (journey time approximately 30 minutes). Spend this afternoon settling in to the utopian surroundings of the peaceful retreat as you take in the impressive view over the mighty Zambezi River from your river-facing room. (B)

Wake up early again today for your last game drive before breakfast. Later on this morning you will be met and transferred by a private driver to Mpumalanga airport for your flight to Livingstone airport in Zambia (fight time approximately 1.5 hours). Upon arrival you will met and transferred by a private driver to your hotel in Livingstone (journey time approximately 30 minutes). Spend this afternoon settling in to the utopian surroundings of the peaceful retreat as you take in the impressive view over the mighty Zambezi River from your river-facing room. (B)

Today you might choose to arrange a river cruise to experience the mighty Victoria Falls, followed by exploring the town of Livingstone, just a ten-minute drive from the hotel. (B)

Today is free for you to explore or relax using the hotels facilities until you are collected and transferred to the airport by private car for your overnight flight back to the UK via Johannesburg. (B)
