On this website you will find suggested itineraries that have been carefully planned to give you inspiration and a taste of what we can do. As no two itineraries we prepare are the same, we are happy to combine your ideas and wishes with our suggestions, knowledge and experience, to create a personalised holiday tailored exactly to your requirements.
Once you have an idea of what you are looking for, or if you require some specific or general advice, please call us on 01892 515966 or complete our online enquiry form. On receipt of your request we will provide you with a written quotation together with our suggestions and recommendations. Once you have accepted the itinerary and paid a deposit we will then proceed to place reservations.
Should you wish to discuss your plans in person we would be delighted to welcome you to our offices in Tunbridge Wells or London. Our Tunbridge Wells office has excellent rail connections and is also convenient for the M25/M20 whilst our London office is centrally located on Pall Mall close to Charing Cross Station, Trafalgar Square and Piccadilly Circus.
Prices
These vary according to selected airlines, hotels and season, however, an indication to the current cost of our featured itineraries are given on this website. On receipt of your request we will provide you with a full written quotation together with our suggestions and recommendations. Our prices are fully guaranteed against any surcharges, once the deposit has been paid.
Getting there
The flexibility of our service enables you to fly from anywhere in the world and commence your holiday on any date you choose. We are more than happy for you to arrange your own international flights and only use scheduled flights commencing from the UK.
Accommodation
From forest cabins and wigwams to luxurious hotels and ancestral homes, the options on where to stay are almost endless. Simply select your style of accommodation and we will advise you and tailor-make an itinerary using accommodation that suits your requirements. The accommodation we have selected for our website itineraries have been carefully chosen to reflect the range available.
When to book
In general, if you are planning a complex itinerary you should book at least two months before your intended date of travel. However, with flexibility we are able to accommodate most late bookings even up to one week before departure.
Safety and Protection
We pride ourselves on selecting the highest quality services available to make your holiday the best it can be. However, because we travel to far-flung and interesting destinations, many of which are off the beaten track, it is not always possible to find standards equal to those we take for granted in the UK. EEC regulations also do not apply to any of the countries featured and general standards of safety and hygiene will differ from country to country. The Foreign and Commonwealth Office may have issued information about your holiday destination and you are advised to check this information at www.fco.gov.uk
Holiday assistance
Prior to leaving on your holiday, we will provide you with contact details of either the overseas representatives that we work with in your chosen destination, or the hotel and/or car hire emergency numbers, for any assistance during your holiday. In addition we will also provide you with a Pettitts Travel contact number so that you can contact a member of our staff in the UK.
