Bangladesh Wildlife Holidays
Think of wildlife in Bangladesh and your first thought will be the world famous Sundarbans National Park – a UNESCO World Heritage Site that straddles the border between Bangladesh and the Indian state of West Bengal. This largely inaccessible riverine landscape of narrow canals, mangrove and swamp combine to create a unique and globally important habitat. The Sundarbans are home to a large but circumspect population of Bengal tiger as well as deer, boar, monkey and leopard whilst the aquatic nature of the reserve support a population of endangered fishing cat, crocodile, monitor lizard and dolphin. Close to three hundred species of bird have also been recorded in the park. Every Bangladesh wildlife tour that we design is one-off, memorable and special.
