West Coast Wildlife Experiences

Canada’s West Coast is known for its richness of wildlife and diverse habitats. Vancouver Island, located on the southwestern tip of British Columbia, offers ample opportunities for seeing orcas and humpback whales, bald eagles and seals, as well as being the gateway for some of the country’s best grizzly bear viewing lodges. Back on the mainland you can find the Great Bear Rainforest, a remote and pristine coastal rainforest that is home to the rare Kermode bear, as well as an abundance of national parks including Banff, Jasper, Yoho, Waterton Lakes and Kootenay which boast numerous species such as bear, moose, elk, bighorn sheep, mountain goats and birdlife.
